Fuji-Q Highland

Fuji-Q Highland is one of Japan’s most famous amusement parks, known internationally for its record-breaking roller coasters set against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji. It’s located in Fujiyoshida City, about a 30–40 minute drive from the villa, and makes for an exciting full-day excursion if you’re looking to balance your relaxing glamping stay with some adrenaline.
The park’s headline attractions include some of the steepest, fastest, and most inverted roller coasters in the world, alongside family-friendly rides, a haunted hospital attraction, and seasonal events throughout the year. On clear days, several of the rides offer views of Mt. Fuji rising directly behind the park, making for a uniquely Japanese amusement park experience you won’t find elsewhere.
If you’re traveling with children or prefer a calmer pace, the park also has gentler rides and character-themed areas, so it can be enjoyed by guests of all ages. We recommend arriving early on weekends and during peak seasons, as wait times for the main attractions can be long.
