Fuji Safari Park

Fuji Safari Park, located in Susono City at the base of Mt. Fuji, offers a drive-through safari experience where lions, tigers, bears, and other animals roam freely around your car. It’s about a 45–60 minute drive from the villa, making it a great choice if you’re planning a fuller day trip that takes in the southern side of Mt. Fuji.
You can explore the safari zone in your own rental car, or aboard a caged safari bus if you’d prefer not to drive through the animal enclosures yourself. A separate walk-through zoo area lets you get closer to smaller animals, and there are hands-on feeding experiences available for an additional fee, making it a popular choice for families traveling with children.
Because of the distance from the villa, we recommend combining this trip with other sightseeing on the Shizuoka side of Mt. Fuji, such as Gotemba Premium Outlets, to make the most of your drive.
